duration: from one weekend up to two weeks
target group: young persons and adults with some drawing experience and interest in illustration
workshop objective: from a simple drawing to book creation <story telling, material, techniques, layout>; workshop content can be adapted to needs and interests.

creative drawing-painting workshops for kids
duration: 2 hours  
workshop objective: topics with a more story-related background can be chosen <i.e. international dog festival> or <mumpitz - theater workshop>

comics workshop for young adults
duration: from 2 hours to 2 days
workshop objective: basic elements for comic drawing, principles of story telling

 

workshop experience

• holding of creative painting and drawing workshops for children and young people during the yearly vienna literature festival, bookolino in graz, and other cultural events in austria and abroad

 

• illustration, comics- and children´s book seminars for students <i.e. at university of applied arts, vienna, national institute for design ahmedabad, india, university of fine arts pécs, hungary>

• artistic direction of a filmworkshop for the animation academy summer school in wels, upper austria. the students produced a clay animation film <hugo>

• holding of several illustration workshops for artists upon invitation of the cultural institute of the city of granada, nicaragua. the results of these workshops were exhibitions, the production of a booklet <tin buquin, malacatoyin> and the publication of drawing books for environmental education with the support of international development aid institutions.
